Charles Fishman is Distinguished Service Professor and Director of the Visiting Writers Program at the State University of New York at Farmingdale. He is editor of the anthology Blood to Remember: American Poets on the Holocaust, and has written many books of poetry, including The Death Mazurka, which was nominated for the 1990 Pulitzer Prize.
