Sampson Starkweather

is a native of Pittsboro, NC where he is a middle school teacher and soccer coach. A former professional soccer player in New Zealand, his team, the Miramar Rangers were the 2002 national champions. His poems are forthcoming from The Roanoke and Main Street Rag.
