Dan Stryk

teaches World Literature and Creative Writing at Virginia Intermont College in Bristol, VA. His poetry and prose have appeared in a wide variety of literary journals, including TriQuarterly, Poetry Northwest, Commonweal, The American Scholar, and The Southern Humanities . Stryk has been awarded an NEA fellowship and published six collections of his work, most recently, Death of a Sunflower and Taping Images To Walls, forthcoming in 2002 from Pecan Grove Press.
